How to use essential oils to stop food guilt

It happens to all of us: we vow to STOP eating something yet continuously CAVE. It may seem like a really insignificant thing, but is it really? The truth is that food anxiety can be crippling. This is because it can result in becoming afraid to eat. Or feeling so guilty after you eat that your body is not truly nourished.

How do you break the cycle?

Emotional eating has its root somewhere. As much as we want to believe it’s just that delicious taste that has us hooked, there’s more. There’s a memory, a thought, a feeling, an experience we want to forget or relive. There’s something significant about those trigger food items that need to be revealed. Once it’s revealed, it can be removed and the unhealthy cycle breaks.

I help my clients recognize, acknowledge, accept and release emotional toxins that have been controlling their daily lives and decisions. Imagine having a natural desire for healthier foods. Imagine being able to occasionally eat pizza or french fries without going on a total binge or feeling terribly guilty – but instead being able to just digest and enjoy.

Combining aromatherapy, breathwork and aroma tapping shifts the energy in the body and helps it to get and stay “cleaned out.” This process eliminates the need for comfort eating. This means you’ll eat for nutrition and enjoyment instead of “eating your feelings.” This shift takes TIME and a lot of effort, but it’s worth it! Your gut, brain and body will thank you again and again by giving you energy, mental clarity and even allowing you to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
