It’s important to note that not every plant is safe for human use. In fact, there is a huge misconception that because it’s natural, it’s a plant, it’s safe.
Plants are chemistry. Aromatherapy comes from certain (not all) aromatic plants. And those plants have psychological and physiological benefits for both the body and the mind.
Herbal preparations, including essential oils, are especially powerful when used as a preventative measure.
While we can use essential oils on the onset of an issue, it’s helpful to use them as preventative measures as well. Everyone has a different ‘tell’ that signals an issue is arising. What is your tell? What oil do you like to use to prevent challenging symptoms from worsening? Do you listen to your intuition? Do you listen to the intuition of your clients? If not, it is something that you might want to start doing.
It is just that healthy gut signal when your body is telling you to do something or stop doing something. We encourage a healthy investigation of that intuition, it may just be a welcome approach to essential oils.
